On the evening of Friday,
September 5th, 2008,
LATINA Style
celebrated it’s
commitment to support
and embrace the
advancement of Latina
Entrepreneurs in the
United States at the 2nd
Annual Anna Maria Arias
Memorial Business Fund
2008 Gala Awards. This
year marked the seventh
year in which the awards
are presented to
successful Latinas
throughout the country.
Since its establishment
in 2002, the Anna Maria
Arias Memorial Business
Fund, dedicated to the
memory of Anna Maria
Arias, late founder of
LATINA Style
Magazine, recognizes her
drive and mission to
empower Hispanic women.
This year, LATINA
Style in
collaboration with
Dartmouth College’s Tuck
School of Business,
provided executive
business education
grants to each
entrepreneur. Awardees
will attend the Tuck
School’s flagship
executive program,
