LATINA Style, Inc. CEO Robert E. Bard Elected to Serve on SCORE’s Board of Directors

Washington, D.C., SCORE has elected Robert E. Bard, president and CEO, LATINA Style, Inc. to its 2015 Board of Directors. SCORE is a national non-profit organization (www.score.org), focused on providing the free mentoring, tools, and training that small business owners and entrepreneurs can use to help them succeed.

“We are so pleased to welcome Mr. Bard to our Board of Directors,” said SCORE CEO Ken Yancey. “His extensive experience in leading LATINA Style lends him a perspective on the Latina and Latino markets that will help SCORE continue to better understand the needs of this community of business owners and thus serve them in new and more effective ways.”

LATINA Style Inc. is the premier company addressing the needs of the Latina professional and business owner in the U.S. producing since 1998 the LATINA Style Business Series, the most successful business ongoing national development program for Latina entrepreneurs in the country. Bard became CEO of LATINA Style on October 2001, after the untimely passing of his spouse and business partner, Anna Maria Arias, founder, editor & publisher of LATINA Style Magazine.

“I am honored to have been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for SCORE and I look forward to working with its distinguished board and staff in assisting entrepreneurs in the development of their businesses, especially Latinas and Latinos in the United States,” stated Bard.

Bard will be responsible for assisting SCORE expand the Hispanic reach in the United States. SCORE has been in existence since 1964 and has over 11, 000 volunteers nationwide. Since its inception, SCORE has served over 10 million aspiring and existing small business owners.
