Latino Community Foundation (LCF)
Latino Community Foundation (LCF) hosted its 5th Annual Gala “Celebrating Philanthropy con Sabor Latino!” in San Francisco on May 13, 2010 to honor individuals that are making an impact in the lives of Latino children and families in the Bay Area. The event was attended by nearly 400 guests, including Latino elected officials, government representatives, corporate executives and community leaders. The Honorable Willie Brown introduced the Trailblazer in Philanthropy Award recipient, Rosie Rios, Treasurer of the United States.

Hispanic Association on Conference Responsibility (HACR)
On May 17-18, the Hispanic Association on Conference Responsibility (HACR) held its 18th Annual HACR Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion in San Francisco, California.The two-day symposium brought together some of the nation’s most influential Hispanic leaders, government officials, and Fortune 500 corporate executives to discuss and identify effective strategies for achieving greater inclusion and participation of Hispanics in the areas of employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance.

Latinas Leading Tomorrow (L.L.T)
On May 22nd, Latinas Leading Tomorrow (L.L.T), a program designed to promote positive Latina identity and empowerment through leadership skills held its Fourth Annual Latinas Leading Tomorrow Conference at George Washington University campus in Washington, D.C. Themed Latinas Redefining Success, the program provides services to female students ages 11-18 who are of Hispanic origin; many are the first in their family who aspire to attend college. Through faculty and community support, L.L.T provides a comprehensive environment of intellectual, social, and cultural experiences designed to meet the needs of emerging Latina leaders at the middle and high school level.

Hispanic Federation
On Thursday, April 29th, the Hispanic Federation hosted their annual fundraising gala at the Waldorf, Astoria in NYC. Attendees of the entertainment, fashion, corporate, political and nonprofit sectors gathered to celebrate at the 20 Years Hispanic Federation Platinum Celebration hosted by Tony & Grammy award-winner of hit Broadway musical In The Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda. The Platinum Celebration honored four Latino trailblazers: Luis A. Miranda, Jr., Nina GarcĂa, Angel Sánchez, and Willie ColĂłn. State Farm received the Corporate Leadership Award.

Latino Leaders Network
On Tuesday, May 4th, the Latino Leaders Network,(LLN), a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop ongoing opportunities for “Bringing Leaders Together” to establish relationships and dialogue on issues important to the Latino community honored Emilio Estefan during the Latino Leaders Luncheon Series held at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
